Hi Everyone! As I am sure you have heard from everyone and their mother, this NYFW was freeezzzzing cold. I never experienced such cold weather. Not the easiest to style looks that not only will look great but keep you warm. New York Fashion Week draws many fashionistas that are so chic and have great style but it also draws those who wear crazy outfits just to get photographed. I am not going to lie, getting mobbed by street style photographers is thrilling but I truly believe you should alway stay true to yourself. I chose to wear clothes I feel most comfortable in and I wasn’t going to wear Spring in below freezing temps (you would no believe how many open toe shoes I saw. CRAY!)
For Day 2, I attended the Rebecca Minkoff and Sally LaPointe shows, and later that evening I attended Cynthia Rowley’s party. For my look of the day I kept it casual and warm. I wore Rag & Bone grey leather pants, J Brand turtleneck (side note: turtlenecks were everywhere on the runways so I am excited to see this trend stay for next Fall/Winter), layered a fur vest with a coat and Stuart Weitzman Over the knee boots, which were the week’s lifesavers keeping my legs warm. I styled the look with a grey fedora, my white Proenza Schouler bag and Celine sunnies.
For Cynthia Rowley’s party I borrowed this 2 piece set to wear. I absolutely love this bonded skirt and crop top set. It fits perfectly (thanks to me and the production team…LOL). I styled the look with a faux fur coat, which is super warm, Christian Louboutin booties, and Saint Laurent velvet bag.
