Hi Everyone! Hope you are having a great day!
Denim skirts are back in style and I for one couldn’t be happier. I remember the days I used to live in denim mini skirts but for a while they were on the “OUT” list…LOL. With the 70’s trend taking over Spring/Summer this is the perfect time to break out a denim skirt. I’ve had this skirt in my wardrobe for years. I almost got rid of it but I’m so happy I didn’t because it’s the best fit and the wash is so on point. Denim skirts are tricky to pull off so to not look inappropriate I suggest choosing one that is not too tight or too short. If it is on the shorter side then pair with flats as I did for a casual summer day look. Also look for an A-line silhouette such as the ones I suggested below.
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE gladiator sandals? I wore my favorite pair in Greece last year and I’m so glad they are still trending. I absolutely can’t say enough about these Schutz Erlina sandals. They are the perfect nude color and pair well with just about anything. I styled my look with this delicate Paul and Joe Sister top that has embroidery detailing. I added my Celine red box bag for a POC and my new Hermes wrap bracelet that is made from silk with a print that is one of a kind just like their scarves. (Side note- this wrap bracelet is only sold at the flagship store in Paris so it will forever be a reminder of our fabulous trip). I accessorized with my favorite of the moment Dior So real sunnies along with a Nialaya ring and Vita fede bracelet.
We went to the MoMA and then to Central Park so this outfit was comfortable and chic for a fun weekend:) Thanks for stopping by!
