Hi Guys! Hope your week is going well. As you know, I LOVE Summer! It’s so easy to get dressed when you don’t have to think about extra layers…LOL! I’m a huge denim shorts kinda girl. Recently I ventured into one of my favorite vintage shops in NYC, What Comes Around Goes Around, and picked up 2 new pairs of vintage Levi’s shorts. I will seriously be wearing these shorts all Summer long.
The best part about buying great pieces that compliment your wardrobe is you end up shopping less. In full disclosure, I’ve been stressing (which is SO not my personality) about having new clothes and especially new clothes for my trip to Spain this Friday. I really think that’s the hardest part about having a blog. You always feel you need to post new pieces but it’s not what I really believe when it comes to style. Without going into too long of a story, my love for fashion started at a very young age and after studying at FIT and now working in the industry, I’ve always stayed true to my personal style and who I am as a person. My motto when buying clothes has never changed…I believe in investing in key wardrobe staples that you can wear over and over and style many different ways. This leads me to ask you guys, are you inspired by #OOTD’s that only feature new items or are you inspired by key pieces that you see styled different ways?? Leave a comment below with you thoughts, I would love to hear from you.
For this #OOTD I wore a distressed pair of high-waisted denim shorts with a T by Alexander Wang tank tucked in. I styled the look with Vince espadrilles and my Celine Trapeze bag. I was running errands in the morning and working on MBS with this look but then I threw on a Zara black boyfriend blazer and Chanel espadrilles to head to a modeling gig and finally dinner with my hubby. I love that this outfit worked from day to night. The lighting was exceptional that day and night so we were able to snap pictures in both looks. That wasn’t planned, which is probably why it worked so well….LOL!
Hope you enjoy the rest of your day:) Thanks for stopping by.
P.S. BTW, Thank you to all of you who signed up for my newsletter!! I’ve been working on some cool ideas to start sending out to everyone soon. Make sure to sign up HERE.
