Hey Guys! I often get asked what are my favorite restaurants in NYC so I’m going to share more about those. Something you may not know about me….I love tacos!! It’s not that hard to believe given that Adrian is Mexican. Our favorite spot in NYC is La Esquina. We are always looking for the best taco places and since I only eat veggie tacos it makes the task quite difficult. La Esquina is so yummy and they even have take-out, which is an added bonus but also dangerous since I want them everyday…LOL! I order the cauliflower tacos with their guacamole (also my weakness). Adrian’s favorites are the barbacoa and carnitas. It doesn’t hurt that this landmark is Instagram gold. La Esquina is made up of the taqueria, cafe and brasserie.
For my OOTD I wore a Zara corset front tee (similar here) with a burgundy leather Helmut Lang mini skirt. One can never have too many leather skirts. I loved the color of this one when I saw it. It’s also so simple and minimal, which is great because it will always be relevant. It’s made from the softest leather and fits perfectly (I’m wearing an XS/0). Corsets are very on trend right now. I found this cute tee at Zara. I never love investing in trendy pieces so I definitely go to Zara for those fast fashion, trendy items.
I styled the outfit with these gorgeous Self-Portrait x Robert Clergerie “Susa” pumps. I can’t say enough about these chic shoes. They are Ah-Mazing! I’ve worn them 3 times already because not only are they fab but they are comfortable as well. They elevate any look with the cool-girl edgy eyelet straps mixed with suede and patent leather. These kitten heel pumps are so punk ballerina, which is exactly why I love them. The mix of masculine and feminine is on point!
I styled my Givenchy sunnies and all black Chanel bag to complete my look. This Chanel is the newest piece in my bag collection. I’ve always believed in investing in classic items that will stand the test of time. I worked really hard to save up to buy myself this Chanel in Paris. I will never forget the story behind the bag. Knowing the hard work it takes to get what you want makes you appreciate it that much more. I bought myself my very first classic Chanel for a birthday years ago and it still makes me so proud knowing what it took to get that bag. I hope this inspires you to know that you can work hard and have whatever it is you value as well.
