My Top 7 Favorite Coffee Shops in NYC

Hey Guys! Happy Friday:) I’m a coffee lover, I mean isn’t everyone? LOL! There are so many great spots to grab coffee in NYC so I wanted to put together a list of my top 7 favorites. These places are not only IG worthy they actually serve up the best coffee or rather espresso since that’s what my go-to cup is. My cup of choice is an americano, which is just espresso and hot water. Lately since I’m pregnant I’ve been ordering decaf almond milk cappuccinos. YUMMYYYY! As soon as I found out I was pregnant the very first thing I googled was “how much coffee can I drink?” (True story! haha). I was told I should limit caffeine intake to less than 200 mg per day, which my doctor says works out to 2 shots (1 oz each) of espresso a day. Now that it’s been 6 months I don’t know if I will ever go back to having more in one day since I’m so used to having less caffeine.

Ok back to my favorite NYC coffee shops:

Once Upon a Tart – this spot not only has amazing espresso, they also have great treats if you have a sweet tooth. The ambiance is so cute too!

2. Sant Ambroeus – I love this restaurant but their cafe bar is amazing as well. The cups are especially cute. It’s a pure Italian spot so getting an espresso here reminds me of the cafes in Italy and Europe.

3. Epistrophy – this little cute spot is perfect for lunch but I love grabbing an espresso here. It’s doesn’t hurt that the location and ambiance are ideal as well.

4. Variety Coffee Roasters – if you happen to be in midtown my favorite spot is Variety. It’s also great for a quick bite.

5. Van Leewen Ice Cream – this spot is legit one of my favorites for vegan ice cream but recently I tried their almond milk cappuccino and loved it. So if you want a little coffee and a little ice cream this West Village spot is right up your alley. I also can’t help but love the pink cup!
